You have to put gold and silver ore in the furnace to make bars, then you put the bars in the grinder to make the dust.
silver you get from the silver mines near supermeru, I think its called rhino horn ridge. you get gold from the obsidian nodes on the side of the volcano, go through the ice canyon where I used to get black ice but is no longer ther, stay to the left and when you com out you should see a melted snow path going up the volcano, google " how to get gold" video showing exact location. There is also a heater shield in one of the ledgendary chests. dont forget to take spiced food with you to get the obsidian and gold.
