It gets pegged at 100% every process/image disappears from the list. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you what is causing this as the second Every time so far, my C:\ hits 100% useage and just sits there. I have taken to leaving Resource Monitor open and watching it when my machine freezes. Event log is catching nothing except the kernel power event when I manually power cycle. I have no 3rd party antivirus/security program installed. Honestly was unaware this could be updated, I will look into that and report back. Mind you, most of them are older drivers, there is nothing new since the Creators update has been released.
I have attempted the following to no avail (rebooting as needed per each attempt). Also, my computer essentially being an expensive paperweight for a month or more is unacceptable. Reached out to Microsoft Support for assistance and a tier 1 technician ruined that option for me by performing an "in-place upgrade" which nuked the files necessary to roll back. Originally, I was going to use the rollback function to return to the last stable version of Windows (Anniversary Update), but I stupidly Once frozen, my desktop machine is completely unresponsive and can only be used again if I manually power cycle the computer. This can happen anywhere from 5-45 minutes after signing in, and I have been unable to identify any red flags or 100% surefire way to Shortly after the Creators Update auto-pushed/installed to my machine, my computer began completely freezing at random.
